ambition without
abandonment
a workshop for entrepreneurs who are done choosing between overriding themselves or barely moving at all.
Your body deserves care.
Your work deserves movement.
You deserve a way of building that can honour both of those things.
You have a body of work brewing in you. I can feel it every time I talk to you.
It is sitting in your Google Docs, voice notes, draft offers, late night chats with your besties and the ideas you keep revisiting. You’ve taken steps towards it, but you haven’t made MOVEMENT on it. At least not the kind it or you really deserve.
You may have even studied the pattern so thoroughly that you can explain exactly why you are afraid to move. But insight has not necessarily changed it.
Sometimes you feel creatively inspired and build the whole thing at once until you have to disappear because it became too much. Other times, maybe you feel resistance and go lay down or thrift instead as you convince yourself that you’ll come back to it when it feels easier.
Over time, you can feel it.
You are living with the burden of unrealized dreams and leadership.
And it is costing you.
Maybe you’ve known ambition before and it burnt you out. But what could it be like to reclaim vision that is anchored in your body, not in spite of it?
most of us have been given two models for ambition.
one that abandons the body and one that abandons the work.
I’m interested in what exists between them.
A form of ambition that takes your body seriously and compassionately without making it the final decision-maker. That honours your limits without turning them into a permanent reality. That lets you ask something meaningful of yourself while also staying on your own side.
The opposite of force is not ease. It is agency. And agency isn’t about every part of you feeling calm, certain, or excited. It means you are moving with enough ownership and support to lead yourself well.
Inside Ambition Without Abandonment, we are going to:
let one piece of your body of work breathe.
Caring deeply about something is not the same as giving it expansive space in your life and work. You’ll choose one piece of work you are ready to stop keeping emotionally important but practically optional and decide what it looks like to reorganize around that.
replace ease with agency as the goal.
Waiting until the work feels effortless is not the same as honouring yourself. We’ll explore the five conditions that help create agency-inspired movement. You’ll use those conditions to really anchor yourself in what you’re wanting to build and create in this season.
build capacity by making the work easier to access.
Capacity is so often shaped by how easy the work is to begin, understand, organize, and return to. We’ll look at what helps your attention and energy stay connected to meaningful work and doesn’t ask you to become more linear or disciplined.
cultivate agency and experience mobilization as aliveness.
For many entrepreneurs, movement can be powered by stress, deadlines, or urgency. We’ll separate urgency-powered action from chosen activation and explore how to create movement that feels energizing and resourcing.
build devotion to your artistry.
Artistry needs a relationship rooted enough to move through changing energy, lost momentum, new ideas, and the noise of being online. You’ll create flexible ways to stay in contact with your work while deciding what deserves less access to your attention, so what matters most has enough devotion.
here’s what you will leave with:
one piece of your body of work fully claimed for this season: you’ll know what you are making space for and what needs to reorganize around it.
a five-part framework for cultivating agency: a way to anchor into what you want, and move through discomfort without having to either force or abandon yourself in the process.
a personal access map for your work: you’ll identify what helps you and your beautiful brain begin, move, and come back to the work so that capacity becomes something you can actively support.
a new way to mobilize: you’ll pick a practice or experiment to try on to help your body sustain healthy, beautiful activation without getting overwhelmed.
a devotion rhythm that protects your artistry: flexible ways to stay close to the work as your energy changes, along with clearer boundaries around what gets to actually interrupt your attention.
You’ll leave with a more alive, self-authored way of meeting the work you’re ready to move.
This workshop is for you if:
You have meaningful work you want to make ground on, but keep moving between pushing yourself too hard and barely touching it.
You can explain your patterns in immense detail, but still do not know what to do differently when they happen.
You regularly mistake a change in energy for a change in direction.
You are excellent at starting from inspiration and less practised at staying through the ordinary middle.
You keep rebuilding the plan instead of doing the work.
You have learned to listen to your nervous system but still struggle to know how to respond to them.
You want to honour your capacity without treating your current capacity as a permanent reality.
You are tired of using urgency as your primary source of momentum.

I want it feel easy to access, but also like a small act of agency to move on the work you know you’re here to move.
I’m Ashley.
I’m a coach and strategist whose work supports founders with big visions and bodies that feel everything.
My work sits at the intersection of embodiment, personal agency, and meaningful work. I’m interested in what helps us bring our ideas into the world without disappearing from ourselves in the process.
My developing body of work, The Online Body, explores how digital culture shapes our attention, ambition, visibility, and relationship with ourselves while building and leading online.
I work with people who do not want to become less perceptive, less ambitious, or more convention in order to make their work happen.
They want to become more capable of leading the work they’re here to do.
An invitation beyond the workshop.
After Ambition Without Abandonment, I’ll open the doors to The Tending Studio; a longer-term space for those who want to bring a meaningful body of work into form.
The workshop helps you give the the path forward shape. The Studio is where you practice.
